The Wall of I Love You, originally in French ‘Le Mur des Je t’aime,’ is a large mosaic, a work of art in Paris, located in the city’s most bohemian neighborhood, Montmartre. Created in 2000, it has become one of the most romantic tourist spots, though still unknown to some. This time, I wandered through Montmartre on a cold, cloudy Sunday. Paris is wonderful in any season of the year.

I set out to explore The Wall of I Love You in detail. Below are some interesting curiosities I discovered:

The wall was conceived by artist Frédéric Baron and calligrapher Claire Kito.

It consists of a 40-square-meter mosaic made up of 612 blue tiles.

Some claim there are just over 200, while others say there are more than 300 translations of the phrase ‘I Love You’ in various languages and dialects, including rare or nearly extinct languages.

It is located in Square Jehan Rictus, a small park in the Montmartre neighborhood, known for its bohemian and artistic charm.

The place has become a spot where visitors often leave notes, propose marriage, or even make declarations of love in various forms. Many go to take a selfie with their loved one, while others go to film.

It’s a place that blends art, culture, and a powerful message of love for all who visit. And that’s exactly what the world needs—LOVE.

I filmed and posted the video on the YouTube channel Vamu Ver! Join me in discovering The Wall of I Love You.
